Dated to the early 20th century, this gorgeous ceramic garden stool is the ultimate in rough luxe. The stool is textured by remnants of its original painted decoration, now beautifully weathered from a century of use to reveal the warm coloring of terracotta underneath. Honoring traditional forms with its simple drum-form shape, the stool is painted with faux handles on the sides and marked by traces of silver and gold pigments around the seat. Traditionally used as a place to rest one’s feet, this stool is perfect as a outdoor garden seat or a small side table, indoors or out.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
