Each pair of limited-edition, signed Blue and White Invisible Chairs by artist July Zhou is fashioned after a traditional Ming example. Unlike other lucite furniture that is injection molded, July's work is created by skilled artisans who heat, join, bend, carve, and polish each chair precisely and seamlessly by hand. The hand-painted blue and white porcelain joints are fired in imperial kilns, accenting the chair's traditional form with a nod to classic motifs.
