Pair of Tall Two Drawer Cabinets

For over 150 years, through many turbulent years of Chinese history, this pair of petite cabinets has remained together. They are unusually configured with impressive original fittings, making them striking and collectible. Each was exquisitely carved in China’s Shanxi province out of elmwood, and the finish aged wonderfully in places to expose the fine wood grain beneath.
