Blacksmith Iron Scissors on Mount

This hand-forged metal sculpture, with its delicate appearance and whimsical shape, was once an integral tool to a 19th century Chinese cobbler’s trade. Made of iron, these scissors were fashioned in a way to effectively cut and shape leather, crafting the finest of shoes. Beautifully worn with age, we celebrate this pair of scissors as a storied found object.
