Two Door Cabinet

Classic Chinese furniture design is characterized by the flawless construction, purity of line, and dedication to detail you see here in this two-door cabinet. This beautiful elmwood cabinet was created in the mid-19th century by an artisan from China's Shanxi province without the use of nails or screws. Finely worked mortise-and-tenon joinery has given this cabinet the tenacity to survive the centuries. We were drawn to the subtle rounded corners and unique proportions that set this cabinet apart from its contemporaries.
