Long ago, an Indonesian artisan living on Lombok, an island well known for its weaving, made his living using this handsome handcrafted drill. The ferrule tip is copper, the tapered handle iron and the shaft carved out of wood with a woven stop. Still functional, the drill is highly sculptural in the fluidity of its form. A discerning collector traveling to Lombok on behalf of a museum purchased this tool over 30 years ago.

“I am particularly fond of PAGODA RED as we have known the family for so long. Betsy is a professional in every way and her intelligent taste comes from a long line of family knowledge in the arts. She and her team are the very best to work with and we find treasures with every visit!”
