Pair of Walnut Round Plank Top Shizi Tables

It's incredible that this pair of early-19th century walnut tables has managed to remain not only together, but in excellent condition over the last 150 years. Walnut, also known as "hetaomu," gives these solid-top tables the warm hues and tight-grain texture that's so coveted by collectors. Hand-carved Chinese lions, or "shizi," set off the elegant curves of the legs.
