This silver alloy ingot is cast in the form of an elongated bar, with a slender, rectangular shape and curved ends. Resembling a shallow dish or incense stand, the ingot has a concave surface stamped with three round medallions of a three-headed elephant. This motif represents the Hindu god Erawan and was the symbol of the royal government of the Kingdom of Laos. Likely minted in the mid-20th century, this silver bar lives on as a storied object and a token from the past.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
