Dated to the late 19th century, this silver charm ring was believed to protect the wearer from bad luck and malevolent spirits. The band of the ring is decorated in relief with a scene of two robed figures gesturing at a scroll. This scene of scholars gathered in the garden is a common motif in Chinese art and expresses the notion of cultivating one’s intellect. The face of the ring is strung with three thin chains, each strung with three petite charms.

Ring band is adjustable. All jewelry sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
