Vintage Stone Kitchen Mortar

Hand-carved from a single block of limestone, this round stone vessel is an early 20th century mortar once used in a provincial kitchen to prepare roots, herbs & spices. We love the wabi-sabi rustic form and texture as is or even filled with a petite orchid or succulent.
