Constructed in the mid-19th century in the Gansu region of China, the artisan who crafted this console table adorned its elegant form with playful, hand-carved details. Trimmed with a finely beaded edge, swirling scrollwork flows along the spandrels and the apron, framing a central lingzhi motif, an auspicious emblem of longevity and immortality. Possibly once used as an altar table for honoring one's ancestors, this table's long, narrow form makes it a versatile addition to the modern home.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
