Dated to the late 19th century, this silver charm ring was crafted by the Miao peoples of the Guizhou province and was believed to protect the wearer from bad luck and malevolent spirits. The ring is decorated with a rectangular panel etched with a Shou character, the character for longevity. The panel is flanked by two butterflies, symbols of blessings, happiness and longevity. Two thick chains hang from the face of the ring, ending in small repoussé pig charms. While somewhat disdained in Western culture, the pig represents good fortune in Eastern traditions as a symbol of wealth and sustenance.

Ring band is adjustable. All jewelry sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
