This square corner chest dates to the early 20th century and was crafted by artisans in Tianjin, a bustling port city in northern China. Originally used for general household storage, likely in a woman's quarters, the cabinet has two shallow drawers and a large lower compartment. The chest has a balanced design, with minimal decoration besides its stepped apron and original brass hardware. A sophisticated storage solution, we love this small cabinet as an elegant side table or nightstand.
