A Qing dynasty artisan constructed this elm wood table in China’s Shandong province over 150 years ago. Its' understated simple & elegant form is true to the Ming style of design. Several noteworthy details make it stand out as a fine collectible piece of furniture: the drawer frames have beveled edges, the top is a single plank of elm finished with subtle rounded corners and a sophisticated channel running around the perimeter. This table's proportions are slightly larger and unusual for a storage table of that era.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
