Constructed in China's Hebei province, these early 20th century noodle cabinets are unusual for their tall, narrow stature. Known as “noodle cabinets” for the rounded wood molding that outlines their doors and frames, the cabinets have an timeless design, with clean lines and balanced proportions. Teardrop brass pulls provide subtle ornamentation and contrast against the contemporary cinnabar lacquer finish. Simple and strikingly modern, the pair would easily blend into a contemporary home for linen, towel, or office storage.
