Beautifully aged with warm coloring, this Qing-dynasty bucket draws attention to the ingenuity of its manufacture, consisting of staves of pine bound with iron rings. A small ring attached to the handle suggests the bucket was once used to lift water out from a well. Authentically rustic, the bucket adds lovely contrast to a formal garden or contemporary bath.
