Perfected in the Ming dynasty, complex joinery techniques allowed craftsmen to create furniture with flowing lines, a sense of lightness, and remarkable durability. Crafted from pine, this early 20th-century offering table employs these traditional joinery methods and features a waisted apron, a floating panel top, and square corner legs linked with humpback stretchers. The table is colored by a glossy lacquer finish with mottled color of warm brown with red-orange undertones. Ideal as a console or sofa table, this timeless altar brings the rich colors and textures of Chinese lacquer to the modern interior.

What They're Saying

Elizabeth Krueger | Elizabeth Krueger Design

“PAGODA RED was extremely supportive in helping to pull accessory options together for the Lake Forest Showhouse. After providing them with details and our vision on how we were looking to finish our space, Laurene helped curate options that made it easy for us to edit and finalize. It's also no surprise that the unique pieces we used in our showhouse space were some of the first to sell.”
